The follow up to frozen banana---frozen strawberries :-) a must try

For everyone who loved frozen bananas, one of my lovely readers said how strawberries were a favourite in their house.

We went to a pick your own and after picking some lovely big strawbs, I did exactly what I did with the bananas and stuck them on the plastic lolly stick bases whole, banged them in a freezer bag in the deep freeze and then today and several other afternoons lately in this amazing weather, Ruby has enjoyed a lovely frozen strawberry.

Dare I say it , she prefers these to frozen banana!
And big bonus much easier to get out of clothes :-)

If you haven't been strawberry picking, its a great afternoon activity with your little ones, probably much better when they can walk, I was carrying Rubes and picking strawberries in the sun, which resulted in my feeling very hot and sweaty very quickly haha. But we loved it great to teach where food comes from, fresh air, family fun, and the strawberries are great value. Of course you will leave with a little one with a mucky red face from all those free strawberries pinched before getting your punnets weighed too :-)!

We had a strawberry covered baby and car seat on the way home, if we had got them from the supermarket, Ruby would have probably eaten a tenners worth haha, thank god they are crazy cheap in comparison when you go to a pick your own, only wish there was more of our groceries we could pick ourselves to cut costs :-p

Enjoy!
